Summer School at Rhizome

Installation view of Rhizome by Camila Rocha.

Summer School was a series of meetings at the exhibition Rhizome, initiated by Camila Rocha and hosted by Galeri Non (Istanbul). Conceiving the summer school as a place to learn and do all the things that one does not get to do during the regular school year, the curriculum of the summer school was dictated by the needs, desires, and projections of the participants. I loosely instigated the events through invitations, organized encounters, and workshops. All events were open to the public, including reading and watching a range of materials together.
