Produced during the Martch Art Studio residency, Murmur considers the relationships between the wind, the breath, blowing with breath and the rattles, creaks, and trembles of the building. Murmur is a proposal on what could be blown with and through fear, constructing a relationship between the whispered breath and the architectural body of the building. Murmur is made from blown glass, inspired by wind instruments. These objects do not fully perform the function required by their form, perched on what objects can hold and what they can do.
