My first self-portrait, Shooting the Window is a caption to A Transmitted Dialogue and From a Wandering Window (both 2019). Inspired by Clement Cogitore’s Braguino (2017), I wanted to create an image-based signature—the photograph was taken in the park next to my apartment with a plastic bear paw on my right hand and looking at the building that I have previously made images of.
