Merve Ünsal treats “reading” as the common ground of the phases of research, production and exhibition. These in-depth reading sessions will apply a personalised version of structural analysis, and as she delves into the seven texts she has chosen within the three hours allocated for each, she will from time to time also seek connections with the ongoing exhibitions at ARTER. In these sessions, which will decipher the performativity of “reading”, Merve Ünsal will alternatively stretch or narrow down the texts she uses within the predetermined duration.

* You are welcome to read all the texts at Bahane. A brief summary of the day’s text will be presented at the beginning of each session.
